Quinceañera Dances
The Quinceañera dance is an important marker for a specific culture and / or tradition. It's a way to showcase how a young girl has become a young woman that has grown-up in such grace, etiquette and beauty! Traditionally, there are at least three dances that take place before the main party has begun for all the guests to dance! The dances are: The Entrance Waltz (El Vals), a Surprise Dance (Baile de Sorpresa), and the Father/Mother-Daughter Dance (Baile de Mama/Papa).
The Surprise dance can also be of the Quinceañera party group that learn a choreographed routine to perform on the special day! Typically the tradition consists of the Catholic Mass, the Traditional Court, the Quinceañera Toast, the cake cutting, the Quinceañera Gown, and The Last Doll. The Quince will dance with her father in a father-daughter dance to a song of their choice! The song of choice is very meaningful for it symbolizes her celebrating this milestone in her life!
